Terms of Use

Effective date: October 8, 2026

Welcome to the Carolina Street Cats website. Carolina Street Cats, Inc. is a nonprofit organization serving community cats and caregivers in Union County, North Carolina. By using this website, you agree to these terms.

Information only, not veterinary advice

Our guides and automated community-cat guide (Sandy) provide general educational information, not veterinary advice or emergency response. If a cat is sick, injured, or in danger, contact a licensed veterinarian or Union County Animal Services (704-283-2308) right away.

Help requests, Trap School, Clinics & Equipment Loans

Submitting our intake survey, using Sandy, or booking a call is a request—not a guaranteed appointment, volunteer crew, or reserved surgery slot.
Trap School graduate status requires independent staff verification of attendance and completion.
Snip & Clip clinic capacity tracks actual cat surgery slots and is confirmed by our team directly.
Equipment checkouts (such as numbered box traps) require borrower acknowledgment, humane use, and timely return for inspection and cleaning.

Donations

Donations are processed by third-party platforms such as Zeffy and Patreon. Donations support our nonprofit mission and never alter program eligibility or clinic priority.
